Role: Visual Art Teacher

Career: I love art, and I love teaching; put it together, and I’m living my dream! I am a licensed visual art teacher who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in fine art, a Master’s Degree in elementary education, a sheltered English immersion endorsement, and a certification in teaching students with severe and moderate disabilities. I have 15 years of teaching experience and create art personally whenever I can. I am an active member of our school’s family engagement committee. My career as an art teacher guarantees that I never have a dull moment, and I get to smile and laugh with my students each and every day. I absolutely love the energy of our art classes. I love watching our students grow as artists and getting to know them as individuals!

About Hilary: My husband and I have two wonderful children who are also students here at BPS! When I’m not teaching art, you’ll find me playing with my children, going on walks with my dog in the arboretum, gardening, camping, traveling, riding my bike or motorcycle, visiting museums, or making art!
