Role: School Nurse
Career: I began my career as a nurse at Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. I loved the community and worked there for around 8 years. While working there, I received my Master’s in Nursing from Curry College and became the Director of Quality Improvement and Case Management. I moved to Boston Public Schools after I had my second child, starting at the Dever Elementary School in Dorchester, where I was for five years. I moved to the Conley School in 2020. Throughout my career, I have been adjunct faculty for Simmons University, where I teach Community Health. In the summers, I love being a camp nurse at Hale Day Camp! I am currently enrolled in a Doctorate in Nursing Practice program at Simmons University.
About Colleen: I love to read, knit and bake! Spending time with my kids, enjoying their love for the outdoors, baseball, and reading too.
