Role: Teacher

Career: I have been teaching in public schools for 11 years and private schools for 4 years. This is my second year at The Conley. I’ve taught preschool, 3rd grade, 5th grade, 6th grade, and 9th grade (algebra). I am licensed to teach birth through 6th grade and Moderate Disabilities with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. I am certified in Restorative Justice.

About Nia: I love to travel and spend time with my family. I come from a very large family. I love food! I love gardening and plants. When I’m not teaching, I am busy working with Massachusetts State Legislators, drafting bills and legislation to improve the lives of the most marginalized people in the state.
